About the Calling the Circle Foundation

Candle circleThe Calling the Circle Foundation facilitates, sponsors, and promotes educational materials and programs that introduce and apply the principles and practices of circle as a social/spiritual movement.

People have been meeting in circles for tens of thousands of years. As they gathered around campfires to share food and stories, people in early times set in place a template for greeting and meeting in the round. In recent years modern people have reclaimed circle for community meetings, family celebrations, and business decision-making.

Tree CircleThe Calling the Circle Foundation sponsors materials and programs that are designed to teach community-building skills, cooperative accomplishment, and reconciliation that increase education, communication, leadership, and well being of the human spirit.

Founded in 1998, Calling the Circle Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization registered in the state of Washington.
